Taj Mahal, the multi-GRAMMY AWARD®-winning blues singer-songwriter-composer, has also been added to the lineup.
The Last Waltz 40 Tour, created by Keith Wortman and led by GRAMMY® Award-winning guitar legend and vocalist Warren Haynes and GRAMMY® Award-winning producer/musician Don Was, has been met with critical praise and warm reception from audiences across the country who have been thrilled night after night by the amazing music of The Band showcased in a unique light. This performance will also include Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and GRAMMY® Award-winner Dr. John, Jamey Johnson, Terence Higgins, Danny Louis, an all-star horn section led by Mark Mullins featuring the original horn arrangements of Allen Toussaint, and very special guests Cyril Neville, Dave Malone, and Bob Margolin. Other very special guests to be announced.
Due to multiple large events occurring on campus parking will be limited and hard to find. We recommend that you plan extra time to navigate campus and find parking. Park in a garage on campus and walk or use a taxi service. The nearest garages (San Jacinto and Manor) and lots (LBJ Lots) to Bass Concert Hall will have very limited space and could be full or not available at all due to other events. Parking fees will be charged at the entry to the garages/lots.
Valet Service will be available on 23rd street. Valet service is first come, first served basis and may fill up. Fees will be posted at the valet stand and only cash payments will be accepted.
