Traffic Notice
In support of the new multi-purpose arena, a separate project will realign Red River Street from the 1800 block to East Dean Keeton Street. The Red River realignment will have multiple travel impacts beginning on Monday, December 2.

From December 2, 2019, until January 2022, the campus community can expect these travel impacts:
  • Red River will be closed from Clyde Littlefield Drive to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (MLK).
  • Robert Dedman Drive will be closed at Red River to just north of the 20th Street intersection.
  • Access to 20th Street from San Jacinto will be closed and reopened in spring 2020.
Please expect increased congestion in this area throughout the duration of the project.

Texas Performing Arts encourages guests to arrive early in order to find parking. Free parking is not available on The University of Texas campus.

  • Pre-Purchase Parking from Parkmobile online before 10 pm the day prior to your event. If you are attending an event at Bass Concert Hall select "Bass Concert Hall", for all other venues select “College of Fine Arts/ Texas Performing Arts.”


The pick-up and drop-off point for Rideshare services to Bass Concert Hall is the corner of Trinity Street and DeLoss Dodds Way.

Bicycle & Scooter Parking

Bicycle racks are located near each venue’s entrance. Please park bicycles properly and secure them to the provided racks. Bicycles secured to anything other than a bicycle rack are considered improperly parked and subject to impoundment at the owner’s expense per UT Parking at Transportation Services.

Scooters should be parked near or at the bicycle racks. Improperly parked scooters are subject to fines and impound at the owner’s expense by Parking & Transportation Services at UT.
