Accessible Seating

Accessible Seating is available at all Texas Performing Arts venues. When purchasing ADA seats online, select the icon under the performance date for ADA seating.

If you require additional assistance or have other special seating concerns, please notify the Ticket Office at 512.471.4454 or tickets@texasperformingarts.org.

Parking

The University requires all faculty, staff, students, and visitors to pay for parking on campus. All parking on campus—both ADA and non-ADA—requires a permit or payment of fees.

Special accommodation parking is available for drivers who have Department of Public Safety handicapped parking permits or plates on a first come, first served basis.

Bass Concert Hall Special Accommodation Parking is available on the west curb of the 2300 block of Robert Dedman Drive on a first come/first served basis for $15 (credit card only). This parking cannot be reserved or pre-purchased.

  • Please pay the machines located in front of the Bass Concert Hall Ticket Office on the plaza or on the west curb of the 2300 block of Robert Dedman Drive.
    • Take note of your license plate number and enter it into the machine along with your payment.
    • If you are a Texas Inner Circle Member or Broadway in Austin subscriber, please present your parking pass/coupon to the parking attendant at the machines located in front of the Bass Concert Hall Ticket Office on the plaza or on the west curb of the 2300 block of Robert Dedman Drive.

Sign Interpretation, Audio Description, and Assisted Listening Devices

Essential Series Performances
To request sign interpretation or audio description for a Texas Performing Arts event, please call our Ticket Office at 512.471.1444 no less than two weeks before the event date.

Services are not guaranteed for all events, but we will make every effort to accommodate each request.

Broadway in Austin
Sign interpreted performances are scheduled for the first Saturday matinee during the run of a Broadway show. Requests can be made by calling the Texas Performing Arts Box Office at 512.471.1444. Requests should be made least two weeks prior to a performance to make the proper arrangements. Services are not guaranteed for all events and are subject to the availability of an interpreter.

Audio descriptive services are available scheduled for the Thursday evening during the run of a Broadway show. Requests can be made by calling the Texas Performing Arts Box Office at 512.471.1444. Requests should be made least two weeks prior to a performance to make the proper arrangements. Services are not guaranteed for all events and are subject to the availability of an interpreter.

Assisted Listening Devices
Assisted Listening Devices are available at all Bass Concert Hall events. You may use the headphones provided or request a T-Coil Loop for direct connection to your hearing aids. 

Your hearing aid must have the T-Coil function to properly operate with the T-Coil Loop. This service is free of charge but a driver’s license is required for loan of equipment.
