Texas Performing Arts fans who've been waiting for the 2023-24 season announcement now have plenty to applaud: TPA’s upcoming season will feature highly anticipated bold projects, many Texas debuts, plus innovative productions with big artist and emerging-talent debuts, and the long-awaited return of some family favorites.

A select lineup of 14 events curated by Texas Performing Arts’ Executive & Artistic Director Bob Bursey, the new season features a vibrant range of innovative new works from a diverse array of artists including bold projects from both established and emerging performance-makers.

Two colossal names in the arts — Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Yo-Yo Ma — headline the upcoming Texas Performing Arts 2023-24 season.

Summer Stock Austin, working with Texas Performing Arts, presents The Wizard of Oz from July 22 through Aug 6 and Grease which plays July 28 - Aug 6, both at the McCullough Theatre on the UT campus.
