What is the difference between Texas Performing Arts Subscriptions and Broadway Across America Season Tickets?

Texas Performing Arts Subscriptions consist of 4 or more of our fine arts season performances, or 3 or more fine arts season performances, plus one Broadway Across America Performance (if you choose). Although individual fine arts season performances will go on sale July 15th, subscriptions will continue to be available throughout the Texas Performing Arts Season.

The Broadway Across America Season Ticket package consists of the 5 Broadway Season shows and is available until the start of the first Broadway show of the season (Spring Awakening on October 20th.). Broadway Across America Special Engagement Performances (Riverdance, Phantom of the Opera and The Wizard of Oz) are not part of the Season Ticket package. Individual performance on sale dates will be announced throughout the Season.

EXCHANGES

There is a $5 per ticket exchange fee for single ticket buyer ticket-for-ticket exchanges (subject to conditions and availability). Tickets must be exchanged in person at the UT Texas Performing Arts Ticket Office. Ticket exchanges are free for Members and Subscribers (subject to conditions and availability). Please note that all ticket exchanges are limited to the current season; tickets for a performance in this year’s season may not be exchanged for tickets to a performance in a future season and the Ticket Office must receive your original tickets back prior to processing your requested exchange. We are unable to hold tickets for exchanges. Exchanges must be completed at least 48 hours in advance.

GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS

Some performances are general admission. General admission refers to seating that is not assigned or reserved and is occupied on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot guarantee seating arrangements for any event that is sold as general admission.

LAST-MINUTE TICKETS

As performance dates approach, we may release tickets that were previously held for performers or seats that were previously thought to be obstructed. We recommend you check our website often for last-minute ticket availability.

LOST TICKETS

If you do not receive your tickets by three business days prior to a performance, call the Ticket Office at 512.471.1444 or 800.687.6010. If you have misplaced your tickets, we will be happy to reprint them for you. They will be ready for you at the will call window the night of the performance.

PRE-SALE EVENTS

Texas Performing Arts sometimes conducts pre-sales that occur online before tickets are available to the general public. If you are a Texas Inner Circle Member at the appropriate level, you may purchase tickets to select events before they go on sale.

SHOW CANCELLATIONS

Artists and programs are subject to change without notice. Refunds are issued only in the case of event cancellation or postponement. Tickets should be returned to the original point of purchase. In the event of a performance cancellation or postponement, the Texas Performing Arts Ticket Office will make every effort to notify you in advance. We will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if we are unable to reach you.

THIRD PARTY SALES

We strongly advise you against purchasing tickets from third party resellers, such as brokers or individuals. Texas Performing Arts assumes no liability for tickets purchased or resold through unauthorized channels.

TICKET LIMITS

We will typically impose a ticket limit per customer, credit card, or address in order to provide tickets to as many fans as possible. Ticket limits vary depending on the type of event or the anticipated demand. Check the event information area of the purchase page for more information on ticket limits for your event. If we determine that a ticket limit has been exceeded, we may cancel an order without notice.
