Bass Pass: Texas Performing Arts Student Membership

2025/26 Bass Pass Membership is Free

This membership is only available to University of Texas students. For other membership levels, please visit the TPA membership page.

Benefits:

  • Receive emails for exclusive access to a limited number of $25 tickets to Broadway in Austin performances (access determined via digital lottery).
  • $10 tickets to most Texas Performing Arts season performances 

  • Advance email notification for newly announced shows throughout the season with UT student offers and exclusive pre-sale opportunities
  • Invitation to a Members-Only Behind-the-Scenes Tour of Bass Concert Hall
  • Invitations to select pre- and post-performance events
  • Access to Hook ’em Arts student lounge before select performances in Bass Concert Hall

How to Join

Sign In to your Texas Performing Arts Student Ticket account with your UT EID credentials to access exclusive UT student discounts. To receive emails with new and limited time offers throughout the year, order the free Bass Pass Membership. If you do not order the Bass Pass Membership, you will only receive one email per semester from TPA. 

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Bass Pass, you must:

  • be a currently enrolled degree seeking UT student, or officially affiliated exchange student,
  • be taking at least 6 credit hours, and
  • not be a staff member only using the Staff Education Benefit

Please Note:

  • The Bass Pass does not guarantee a ticket to any specific event and is based on availability. Please contact tickets@texasperformingarts.org to inquire about the availability of a specific show.
  • Bass Pass tickets are available only to members and one guest. Bass Pass tickets cannot be sold or transferred.
  • All Bass Pass exclusive ticket sales occur online. Digital ticket delivery will occur shortly before the event, once student status has been confirmed.
  • Abuse of membership, including attempting to resell exclusive tickets or otherwise using them for non-eligible individuals, will result in the cancellation of your membership and any applicable tickets without refund.
  • All show announcements, on-sale instructions, and related information will be sent via Texas Performing Arts e-mail system. To ensure delivery of our emails, please add updates@go.texasperformingarts.org to your trusted senders list. Please check your preferences in our e-mails and with your e-mail provider.
