SCHOOL DAY PERFORMANCE: Skeleton Canoe by All My Relations Collective

Apr 21 & 22, 2027

Overview

Skeleton Canoe follows the story of young Nawbin, an Anishinaabe youth searching for their place in the world. After mistakenly breaking their family’s canoe paddle in a fit of emotions, they flee their home and set out on a rite-of-passage journey that will take them along the water to discover truths and a way back to themselves. Blending puppetry, storytelling, music, and multimedia design, this visually striking performance draws audiences into a world where land, water, and family are interconnected.

Presented by the University of Texas at Austin College of Fine Arts Visiting Artist Endowment.

Presenting Sponsor: H-E-B Tournament of Champions.
