AUSTIN, TX – Coming off the success of his 2020 One Night Only Drive-In Tour, comedian Nate Bargatze announced today his new The Raincheck Tour. In addition to his rescheduled shows from 2020 that were moved due to the pandemic, Bargatze has added a stop at Bass Concert Hall presented by Texas Performing Arts which goes on sale to the general public Friday, November 5 at 10am. ABOUT NATE BARGATZE
Fresh off the release of his highly anticipated 2nd Netflix special, The Greatest Average American, now streaming worldwide, The Raincheck Tour will feature all new material. Hailing from Old Hickory, Tennessee, stand-up comedian Nate Bargatze sells out shows across the world. Bargatze’s comedy is both clean and relatable, which is evident in his ten appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon following four appearances on Late Night with Conan O’Brien. In March 2019, Nate’s first solo one-hour Netflix special, The Tennessee Kid premiered globally to rave reviews. In July 2020, the comedian teamed up with All Things Comedy to release his new podcast, Nateland. New episodes release Wednesdays, with video available on Nate’s YouTube channel and audio available everywhere you get your podcasts.

ABOUT TEXAS PERFORMING ARTS
Texas Performing Arts is the performing arts presenting program of The University of Texas at Austin and operates campus venues including Bass Concert Hall and McCullough Theatre. It is the home of the Broadway in Austin series, a curated program of performing arts, and a host of comedy and concert events. In the calendar year 2019 Bass Concert Hall had the highest number of tickets sold of any theater in Austin, was #2 in the State of Texas, and #22 in the world, according to industry publication Pollstar. Following a national search, Tony Award-winning producer Bob Bursey was appointed Executive and Artistic Director in January of 2020.
