Fusebox Takes the Electricity Across the Calendar

Austin-area student wins top award for high school musical theater

The National High School Musical Theatre Awards, better known as the Jimmy Awards, were held at the Miskoff Theater in New York City on June 26. Only two students in the nation win Jimmy Awards – and one of this year's winner is from Leander ISD. The Austin region was represented for the first time this year thanks to Texas Performing Arts, home to Broadway in Austin.
