Cuando los Disfraces se Cuelgan
(When the Disguises are Hung Up)

Presented in partnership the Teresa Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies and the Department of Theatre and Dance

Founded by Mexican choreographers Vìctor Manuel Ruiz and Claudia Lavista, Delfos Danza Contemporánea creates and presents works of contemporary dance while developing a dance space that fosters education, exchange and communication. This year, founding member and current dancer/choreographer Omar Carrum was awarded a prestigious Guggenheim Fellowship.

Delfos performs their piece Cuando los Disfraces se Cuelgan (When the Disguises are Hung Up), an interesting choreographic search that integrates various languages such as dance, video, computer animation, and music. The theme is the unveiling of our interior world, continuously covered by the many costumes or disguises of daily life.
