The University of Texas at Austin welcomes Canadian Brass, the world’s premier brass quintet, to the Bass Concert Hall stage, Saturday, July 10th at 7:15 pm. Known for diverse repertoire that ranges from early renaissance music to Broadway and pop hits, their Bass Concert Hall program will include works by Monteverdi and Bach, selections from George Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess and Carmen by Bizet, and a set of hits by The Beatles.

With over 90 albums in their discography and album sales numbering in the millions, the group is also one of the world’s most successful classical music recording artists. The group’s membership, which has changed over their thirty-nine-year history, is currently comprised of Chris Coletti (trumpet), Brandon Ridenour (trumpet), Jeff Nelsen (horn), Keith Dydra (trombone), and Chuck Daellenbach (tuba).
