With some of the most lavish sets, costumes and special effects ever to have been created for the stage, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA directed by Harold Prince traces the tragic love story of a beautiful opera singer and a young composer shamed by his physical appearance into a shadowy existence beneath the majestic Paris Opera House. Adapted from Gaston Leroux’s classic novel of mystery and suspense, this award-winning musical has woven its magical spell over standing room audiences in more than 100 cities worldwide and is now the longest-running show in Broadway history.

absolutely wonderful
If you are not into “plays” and believe you will only ever see one live performance in your life, believe me, this is the one to see.
Austin 3/28 Show
This show was fabulous!! I saw it a couple years ago in Vegas and was hoping this was going to be as good as it was there… well to my surprise it was so much better!! The singing and the costumes were wonderful! I would see it again and again!

WOW!! It was Awsome,I took my mother and sister they always wanted to go see it in new york but knew we could never make that journey,we dont have to now this show was just superb the way it followed the movie was great I thought i was gonna fall asleep Nope never happened, the pyro affects were magical, and the opera singers could sing inever heard someone sing like that, hey spend the money go see it! It is a once in a lifetime event and check out some gear too I got some coffe mugs that the mask on the cup turns white when a hot beverage is pourded in it,so cool,10 stars if that is how it is done 2 thumbs up and two big toes up.Great
Fabulous!
I bought the tickets for my mother’s birthday and did not think I would like this (I was so wrong!)
If you are able to get (or have) center, front row… it is beyond amazing! I just saw it tonight with my parents.
Now, I cannot wait for a revival of Evita and will be “first in line” for those tickets :o)
Tuesday night performance...
After seeing the recent movie several times, my children and I finally had the opportunity to see the Phantom of the Opera live at Bass Concert Hall. It was an incredible performance that exeeded our expectations. My 8, 11, 14, and 16 year old all enjoyed it!!!
