CONNECT WITH TEXAS PERFORMING ARTS

Backstage Tour for Annie

The arts enrich lives. As part of The University of Texas at Austin College of Fine Arts, Texas Performing Arts has the unique ability to share new, interesting and important artistic work with the UT and Austin community. Part of our mission is to encourage arts education and appreciation for all ages, cultures and backgrounds.

CAMPUS & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT EVENTS

Our engagement programs connect UT faculty, students, touring artists and the greater Central Texas community through a number of collaborations to contextualize the performing arts experience. Events include artist-directed symposia, workshops, post-performance talkbacks, lectures, brown bag lunches, youth performances, and other events to offer insight on many different levels into skill, technique, and the creative process.
